In order to face the current market demands, at the same time maintaining the recognisable quality of its products, ETMA wagers on environmental certification. 
In 2009 ETMA obtained certification for Environmental Management, according to Norm NP EN ISSO 14001: 2004.

The company has put in practice a protocol with the Superior Institute of Engineering of Porto, in the scope of the introduction on the market of its own product line. 
The establishment of partnerships with Universities and Superior Institutes constitutes a strong wager of this company. 
Besides this, ETMA also launches a challenge to young talents, so that they come forward with proposals for the creation of the company’s own product. Proposals are welcome.

The company takes another step into the future, with its recent acquisition of a Mitsubishi Melfa Robot.
With the purpose of maintaining the productivity level of its manufacturing lines and keeping up with the pace of the Marketplace, and simultaneously guaranteeing the recognizable quality of its products, ETMA will wager on robotics. 
A discerning selection of equipment will not only make the production processes more efficient, but will also make them more flexible.
